New Performance Marketer Guide

SCI Inc., owners of the highly visible web site Diet-Patch.com are delighted to announce that we’ve upgraded our Affiliate Software. Now we’ll be perfectly honest, the website design and software is brand spanking new. We are kicking off with banner adverts, similar to what you had available on our other software but as you can see below, we have many more features we will be adding to help you market our product(s).

New Affiliate Tools

How do you Login to your new Performance Marketing (Affiliate) Account?
In relation to your account login details, if you formerly had a username with more than 5 characters, your username and password are the same. You can login to your account HERE. If your username was less than 5 characters, we’ve created a new login which we’ll be emailing to you separately.

We will be creating video tutorials to show you around the new account interface, which is very detailed and offers so much more dashboard reporting to you, our valued affiliate. Please note we are not an MLM affiliate scheme. Diet-Patch.com is a one level affiliate program.

What does that mean?
It means that you will receive 50% commission on any product sale you make using our banners and other marketing tools. If your referred customer returns and re-orders you will receive lifetime recurring commissions. However, please understand the following: You do not get paid to ‘recruit’ other members and create what is called a ‘downline’ where you would receive commissions for sales that your referred members would generate. This is frowned upon in our Industry due to the many scams that have occurred over the years in the internet.

Overview of the new software system

1. Although the system with hourly monitoring has been BETA tested to work flawlessly, we realize that a new system for the general user can take a bit getting use to before the marketing affiliate correctly uses it. There are some steps a marketing affiliate can take to make there experience more fruitful just by following instructions.

A. Browser issues: No matter what platform you are using, please make sure that you have the latest version installed and the site will work perfectly for you. If your browser is out dated you will have issues and there is nothing we can do about that. Updating your browsers is free and only takes a few minutes.

B. Forgetting your password: If you forget your password you can reset your password by clicking on the “reset password” button at the sign in page. The temp password will be sent to the email address you used when you registered. Wait for the email to come (don’t keep trying to log in repeatedly before your temp password arrives as this will lock you out of the system for a period of time just like your online banking will) and then go back and use your email address as your user name and the temp password as your password to log in. It is important to remember that the temp password is just that, a one time use temp password and will only work once. So once you use it to get into your back office, the first thing you should do is go to your account details and input the new password you will remember and want to use for future logins.

C. Once you are finished with your session make sure you logout before you close the browser window.

D. So your computer works faster and better make sure you clear your cache not just for the Diet-Patch.com site but also because this can slow your computer down in general.

E. Patience is a virtue: At certain times, weather conditions, connection speeds, etc, and not connected to any issues regarding the Diet-Patch.com web site, your computer may respond slow. Just be patient when this happens or try again later. Pressing buttons repeatedly will make your experience worse not better and could cause, in cases of ordering, a double charge to you which we will then have to refund and we incur a service charge when we have to do that, so please consider that excessive button pressing is an unnecessary expense to us.

Ordering correctly for credit and shipping

1. You must log into your Diet-Patch.com account if you are a Performance Marketing (Affiliate) member and want to get credit for your purchase.

2. Once logged into your account and in your back office, you must click on your “General Referral Link”, located at the bottom of your account page before you begin ordering in order to get credit for your purchase. (Note: You will use this link to promote Diet-Patch.com to your customers.) Please click on the link before you begin ordering. If you do not, your order will still go through but you will not get any credit for that particular order and we can not retro compensate and look backwards. We are sure you understand. However if is of some fault of our system we will of course make things right.

3. In order for your credit card to be accepted the name on the card must be correct, the address must be the address where your credit card statement goes to. The shipping address can be different from your credit card billing address.

You now have two options when paying for your products which are clearly identified during the checkout process.

Option 1: Paypal or checks: Use this option if you want to go through paypal or use paypal to pay by check.

Option 2: Visa or Amex – Use this option if you want to pay by Visa or Amex – it is via a payment gateway merchant called ‘AlertPay’ (similar to Authorize.net etc).

4. Once you are finished placing your order and have finished with browsing the site, please make sure you log out of your account before closing your browser window for your security protection.

SHIPPING

We use Priority Mail USPS to ship your products to you and for retail and affiliate customers, this is free of charge and confirms delivery, thus avoiding charge backs to you!

DIET-PATCH.COM PAYMENTS AND OPTIONS

We have been very flexible in our one purchase (minimum monthly qualifying order) to obtain your commissions. So as of March 1, 2010 we will require $100 worth of commissions to make your commission payment. Your sales will accrue in your account and be disbursed in the month that you reach your minimum commission level. You need a valid paypal email ID to receive payments. If you do not have a paypal account or do not wish to have a paypal account, your commission will be credited to your account as a voucher against future orders.
