Ramadan 2010 : Are Diet Patches Allowed?

WHEN IS RAMADAN?

Ramadan in 2010 will start on Wednesday, the 11th of August and will continue for 30 days until Thursday, the 9th of September. In North America, in 2010 Ramadan will start a day later – on Thursday, the 12th of August. Note that in the Muslim calendar, a holiday begins on the sunset of the previous day, so observing Muslims will celebrate Ramadan on the sunset of Tuesday, the 10th of August.

ARE DIET PATCHES ALLOWED DURING RAMADAN?

There is a lot of continued discussion about using the diet-patch during Ramadan and in our findings, there is leading Islamic Professors and academics stating that use of a weight loss patch during the Holy Month is allowable.  You can read our previous article on this topic HERE.
